About Me

The Reverend Bonnie Haase is a retired UCC clergyperson. She has a BA in Education and an M.Div. degree from Andover Newton Theologicl Seminary. After ordination in 1985 she served pastorates in PA, NY, CT, and Maine. She served as Chicago Metropolitan Association Co-Minister for six years. As part of her desired ministry of peacemaking, she traveled to Haiti, Chiapas, Mexico, Israel and Palestine.

Bonnie has also served as a hospital chaplain and helped to establish a palliative care/hospice program at Down East Community Hospital in Maine. Her resume also includes working with pregnant and parenting teens, child abuse prevention, and conflict mediation.

Bonnie is the mother of two grown daughters, Jennifer who lives in Maine and Heather who Bonnie resides with in Mt. Prospect. She is also the proud grandmother of two beautiful granddaughters. Bonnie loves quilting, music and broadway shows.
